My name is Kim – its not really, but thats what my name is for you.
On the 19th December 2007 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma – again. I had treatment in 2006, was in remission, but at my 12month checkup, it was discovered that I have relapsed and it had spread, and I have to have treatment again. There is a small chance it wont be chemotherapy, but that will most likely be the treatment of choice. I have surgery tomorrow (2nd Jan 08), to take out some lumps for formal diagnosis, and after that the treatment will be decided.
This is my journey. Please read it and leave comments. This wont all be doom and gloom. I don’t intend on dying cos I’m too damn stubborn. There will be swearing and shitty moments, but there will be revelations and high points too. Come with me, share with me, and maybe you will understand what its like.
